Uttar Mendabari ST. Peter’s Educational Society , over the last 7 years has established itself as an organization committed towards supporting to poor and backward children’s education, Social welfare and empowerment of dropout children. The organization has worked with multiple stakeholders: governmental bodies, media, missionaries and local CVOs and multilateral organizations to create a platform and an understanding towards this marginalized, deprived and voiceless section of the society. Taking impetus from its previous work UMSPES this year articulated and highlighted issues of advance and modern education of poor and backward children at the society as well as in locality. To ensure opportunities of education, health, nutrition, plays and cultural of the poor children’s. UMSPES supported more than 350 children regarding their education and other welfare. Approx 125 old persons were facilitated every year with a small gift as like winter cloths i.e. Kambal, Saree, Showl etc.
